The site sits along the acclaimed Omotesando area known for its numerous high fashion boutiques and premium retail outlets. The brief called for an exploration of skyscraper typology alongside the programmatic challenge of designing a 100m tall tower dedicated to documenting fashion.

Our response was to infuse the traditional skyscraper with the sacred, organic and physical attributes of the mountain. Terraces, caverns, creeks and various mountain scapes became platforms, atriums and gallery spaces. Fashion was esteemed to a level of permanance and historical worth. The spectacular architectural opportunites also sought to celebrate the history of fashion into one complete spectacular image.
