3 600 sq ft cinema 

For the latest cinema establishment under the ownership of Filmgarde Cineplexes, MU Architects strived to encapsulate the excitement and joy of the moments preceding a film showing. Our focus revolved around creating an intimate, inviting, and lively environment that encourages interaction and social gatherings prior to the commencement of the movie.

We commenced the design phase by meticulously outlining the potential traffic flow on the floor plan, meticulously recording visual sightlines based on the site, and suggesting specific zones for gathering and socializing. Having established these key elements, we envisioned an engaging interplay of geometric lines harmonized with a bold angular architectural style.

We strategically implemented this approach on the floor plans, ensuring continuity throughout the space. This design concept seamlessly extended to the intricate floor patterns and the captivating ceiling details. The inclusion of striking wall paneling and innovative ceiling features served to enhance the overall dynamism of the architectural composition.

The journey within the halls commences by ascending a steeply inclined, dimly illuminated black stairway. This ascent leads to a lengthy linear corridor adorned with timber panels and accompanied by softly glowing LED signage.

This deliberate design aims to cultivate an atmosphere of heightened expectancy just before entering the cinema halls.
